He shoots, he scores!
Captain Ed McCormick is the owner and operator of Florida Bowfishing Charters in Crystal River, Florida. A former commercial pilot, Ed loved the action of flying, but not all of the down time in between. So, he hung up his wings and turned his passion for bowfishing into a charter business. Now he takes his guests flying across the flats where they get to shoot their bait with bows. Then they take that same bait out into the Gulf of Mexico and tangle with bulls and tigers. Sharks, that is. In this episode, we talk about one such epic adventure. Oh yeah, and his bowfishing gator hunts. This one’s gonna get wild …
Before he started guiding, Ed used to hunt (fish?) gators with his bowfishing gear. That turned into a passion for freshwater bowfishing for big gar in the Central Florida area. One target lead to another, and now his guests shoot bait to use for catching some of the most aggressive sharks that swim in Florida waters.

This episode takes place on the Gulf Coast of Florida in Crystal River.
Catch of the Day
This episode is about bowfishing for stingrays and mullet, which are then exchanged for large toothy predators …
